Evaluation
Using selections of children's literature, this session will explore memorable stories useful for vocabulary building, aural comprehension, writer's workshop and theatrical presentation in the target language. The activities link foreign languages to language arts, theater arts, and visual arts. Authors include but are not limited to Tomie De Paola, Kevin Henke, Mike Thayler and Charlotte Zolotow. The session will include time to view literary selections and create a lesson plan.
