The focus of this session is to analyze the fourth task of the AP language exams--Presentational Speaking: Cultural Comparisons--and to identify themes and cultural materials (products, perspectives and practices) that will enable students to speak on the differences between the culture where their language is spoken and their own. Whether teaching AP or not, participants will explore a variety of techniques, organizational tools, and presentational skills that can strengthen students' preparation for cultural comparisons.
