Language education researchers have increasingly highlighted the potential for the arts to facilitate language learners' reflections about themselves as be(com)ing plurilingual. Awareness of one's diverse cultural and linguistic repertoire is essential in helping students deepen their understanding and performance in the foreign language classroom. This hands-on session engages participants in a range of creative classroom activities--drawing on the arts--that help instructors and students of all languages see and develop their plurilingual self.
